Case study · Green Thread Network

A brand-new organization, launched with a brand and a website built to grow.

Green Thread Network is a new organization cultivating resilient, compassionate communities across the environmental and horticulture world. They came to us with a mission and a name — we gave them the brand identity and the website to introduce it, from a blank page to a launch-ready home.

The challenge

Introduce a brand-new organization — and make it feel established from day one.

Green Thread Network started with a compelling mission and not much else — no brand, no website, and no audience yet. A mission needs a face before anyone can rally around it. They needed a launch that would make a brand-new organization feel credible, warm, and ready: a place that could hold their consulting collective, their programs and partnerships, and the community they set out to build.

The design

A brand and a homepage that lead with the mission.

We built Green Thread Network's identity and public site from the ground up — a warm, grounded design system around "Connect. Care. Thrive." that puts people and place first, and a homepage that introduces the collective, the work, and how to get involved.

  • A complete brand identity and design system, built from scratch
  • A homepage that leads with the mission and the ways to work together
  • Fully responsive across desktop, tablet, and phone

The build

A living hub for programs and partnerships.

Behind the homepage, we built the pages that carry the work — starting with The Thread Network, where partnerships, program spotlights, and featured case studies come together, so a brand-new organization has room to grow into.

  • The Thread Network hub for partnerships and collaboration
  • Program spotlights, network highlights, and featured case studies
  • Built on WordPress so the team can add programs and stories themselves

From a name and a mission to a launch-ready home.

Phase 1 · Brand & identity

A brand that feels like the mission

We built the identity from scratch — a warm, grounded design system around "Connect. Care. Thrive." that reflects the people, the place, and the relationships at the center of the work.

Phase 2 · The website

A site that introduces the work

We designed and built the public site to introduce the organization to a first audience — the consulting collective, the ways to get involved, and The Thread Network hub where partnerships and programs live.

Phase 3 · Room to grow

A platform the team can build on

We built it on WordPress so a new organization can keep adding — new spotlights, partnerships, events, and case studies — without coming back to us for every update. The launch is a starting point, not a ceiling.

You all were wonderful to work with and I love the website you all created for my new business endeavor! I have led 3 new website efforts over the past few years and you all were the best I've worked with by far, specifically related to overall design and functional quality and results, efficiency, communication/customer service, project management, and value. Thank you so much!
